Recycle your plastic pots at Podington

We are pleased to announce that you can bring your old plastic plant pots back to Podington Garden Centre where they will be fully recycled.

In partnership with our waste managment company we can confirm that your plastic pots will be fully recycled and the plastic put to good use.

Where possible Podington Garden Centre does what it can to recycle or reuse otherwise waste material. Plastic plant trays used to trasport plants to Podington are provided for customers to reuse and help transport their plants home. Any unused trays may be recycled with our plant pots. In some cases these trays will be taken back by our suppliers to be reused.

We do still offer recycled plastic carrier bags if it is absolutely necessary for our customers to transport their goods home.  Podington Garden Centre also offers a very useful reusable shopping bag which is water resistant and can carry many plants home. They are also useful in the back of the car to help keep the contents upright.

Cardboard outers used to ship goods to Podington are stored and reused by our direct home delivery service, and also provided for our customers to help transport their purchases home.
