They're easy to install as they require no wiring and because they use solar power they cost nothing to sun. During the day the solar panel mounted on the top of the light converts daylight into electricity and recaharges the integrated AA battery. At dusk the light turns on autommatically and runs on the electricity stored during the day.

The lights will operate for up to 8 hours at night if fully charged during the day. Running time is dependant on exposure to the sun and will vary with the seasons, longer in the Spring and Summer, shorter in Autumn and Winter. For maximum runn ing time the lights should be positioned in full sun away from cover or shade.
